Of the millions of moments we experience in our lifetime, most will pass without our awareness. How do we know when we are experiencing a defining moment? Ultimately, defining moments reveal who we really are. And presents us with a choice to change the direction of our lives. We must decide to get up in the morning or sleep-in. Throughout our day we are faced with an infinite number of choices. What are defining moments?Īt their core, defining moments present us with a choice amongst hundreds to decide from. When our vision is able to detect the trail of evidence left behind.Ībout who we really are. Leaving us with the responsibility of catching them. They may have come many years before and left without a trace. Fully aware of the larger-than-life role they are to play in our life’s story. They may come with a deafening bang, demanding our attention. Unaware of their presence until we are face-to-face. They may come into our lives soundlessly tip-toeing up behind. To transform our past, present, and future lives.ĭefining moments may be experienced in the present. Creating a momentary glimpse into the window of our soul. With superhuman ability, defining moments can bend space and time to its will. This week I’d like to shift our focus on one specific moment.Ī moment like no other.
